Rock Perry has coached American Leagues for 11 years and instructed for over 20 years. He played both basketball and baseball at Elon, but learned most of what he knows from umpire experience. Twenty-seven years as a high school umpire gave Rock the perfect vantage point to study the game. This experience provides him with refined expertise when working to advance skill levels of the player. Rock has also instructed SPARQ (Speed/Precision/Agility/Reaction/Quickness) for the past 7 years. For this program he develops new strategies to improve an athlete from the core.
Taylor Perry graduated from Graham High School and played with the baseball team, Graham Red Devils. He was an All Conference Team Member for 3 years and led the team in his senior year in hitting. Taylor now attends Louisburg College where he is a member of the baseball team. He excels in teaching young people the art of baseball.
A 2007 high school graduate, Tj was a four year member of the Wolves baseball program in Flora, IL playing 3rd base and pitcher. Tj went on to play collegiate baseball for Greenville College at which time he transitioned to catcher from infield. Tj comes by way of Indianapolis, IN where he spent the last two seasons coaching Avon High School. Here he specialized in hitting and catching mechanics. Currently, Tj is head coach of a 10-13U team. His passions are mentoring and developing young hitters and teaching defensive drills. Instructions are available in hitting and catching.
