Since we opened our doors in October 1947,
Burlington Sporting Goods has provided the towns
of Graham and Burlington with a wealth of
services for all their athletic and sport
needs. We're the oldest sporting goods
store in Alamance County, and we take pride in
providing Alamance County with our team-oriented
and friendly staff. Our services include
corporate screen-printing for all your team
needs and an indoor batting facility where your
players can learn the basic techniques of
recreational and competitive sports.
Customers can create their own team logos and
have their images printed on high-quality
uniforms while players learn the basic
fundamentals of their team sport in the indoor
batting center. In addition to silk screen
uniform printing services, we continue to offer the public a wide array of athletic gear,
including cleats, mitts, and sports gear
required for every sport under the sun.
As Alamance County's only indoor batting center, we feature a completely enclosed 70' x 70' batting cage with nine token operated pitching
machines. We use Iron Mike arm-style pitching machines with various speeds for baseball or softball. With each pitch, you see the machine's are windup and release the ball, creating the same sense of timing achieved by watching a pitcher's arm. All cages are fully automated and operate with a self-feeding hopper. There are
NINE total machines, which include:
FIVE Baseball, THREE Fast-Pitch and ONE Slow-Pitch Softball Machine. All ages and ability levels are accommodated.
